Hi, I’m Kelly
My academic background is diverse. and lengthy. I have degrees in Biology, Education, and Leadership. I have taken multiple graduate courses in the human sciences including anatomy and physiology, gross anatomy, functional anatomy, exercise physiology, genetics, endocrinology, microscopy, research methods, to name a few. I have also become a trainer for Franklin Covey and The Thinking Collaborative (focused on working in collaborative groups.) EQ is a great interest of mine and therefore, I continually listen to books and resources that will improve my connections with others. I love to listen, learn and share.

I am an award winning school administrator and educator that was injured in the line of duty. We all have choices. When asked how I made it through adversity so difficult most would fold, I decided to focus on my circle of control and in line with my values, to seek a purposeful life helping others; even though at the time I did not know what that meant. Prior to injury, I was an award winning school administrator (NYS ESSAA Administrator of the Year , NYS Educating The Whole Child for the 21st Century Award, NYS STEM Program of the Year Award). Since time, I have transformed back to full time career and use my abilities to inspire others as a leadership coach and consultant, an executive coach, motivational speaker, and yoga instructor.
I have sisu; a Finnish word that loosely translates to having perseverance, integrity, and tenacity when faced with significant adversity and the fortitude to take action. My sisu and regained purpose was recognized in 2022 by the NYS Brain Injury Survivor of the Year Award.
